Originally crafted in 2016 for a local restaurant, this distinctive blend combines 100% Nebraska-grown chicory from Chicory USA Farms in Scottsbluff, NE, with medium-roasted Brazil coffee from the Cerrado region. The earthy flavor notes and lower acidity of the Brazil coffee perfectly balance chicory's traditional bitterness, creating a smooth and robust experience.

Brewing Instructions:

Start with two heaping tablespoons of coffee per 8 ounces of water, then adjust to taste—stronger is better with this blend to bring out the full flavor. For best results, we recommend brewing with a French press or pour-over. While a drip coffee maker works in a pinch, you'll get the most flavor out of this blend using a manual brewing method.

For the traditional experience, serve it café au lait style with warm milk, or you can add a splash of heavy cream.
